This Easter Mike and I decided to drive down to Lindon, UT to go visit Grandma Vella and the Teschners. We thought we had the 4 hour drive all planned out, with us leaving right when Landon is going down for a morning nap. We were going to drive 2 1/2 hours down to Logan to visit our friends Maggie, Ron, and Hayden, with Landon sleeping the whole time. Well, we made it 2 hours until he woke up. He wasn't too bad, but he certainly didn't want to be in his car seat anymore. After having a delicious lunch and a quick chat in Logan, we were on the road again for another 2 hours. Landon slept probably 40 minutes until he woke up and started screaming. I eventually climbed in the back seat to be with him and he did much better. We made it to Grandma's house and enjoyed a fun-filled 5 day trip. Landon loved being outside and seeing all the action, and he especially loved being smiled at and smiling back.
