Merry Christmas!

I know I'm a little late posting this, but who really reads it anyways?

This Christmas was really good. We were able to spend it at home this year and we had such a good time! We didn't rush with opening gifts, and Landon loved opening each present and toy one at a time and playing with it before moving on to another one. We had a delicious breakfast of cinnamon rolls and milk, and spent the morning and afternoon munching on Christmas goodies from stockings and gifts. We invited our friends, the Kerns', over for dinner and everything turned out wonderful! And after dinner the kiddos enjoyed playing and the adults talking. It was just what everyone needed in a holiday- no stress, good food, and good company.

And here's to 2014 bringing us a new baby! It'll be a great year :)

Little Bows and Ties

I have recently started a new little business called Little Bows and Ties. I make bow-ties and hair bows for kids age newborn and up. It's been a lot of fun making them, and seeing the joy they bring to little people. This month I made cute Halloween bows that are only $2 each! If you are interested in purchasing a couple for you, or for your little loved ones, give me a call or e-mail me and I'll get them to you as soon as I can.

California Vacation- Day 3

On Thursday, my Dad flew in from Colorado to see us for a few days. It was a short visit, but it was nice. The last time my dad saw Landon, he was just 5 months old and was very fussy. This time Landon loved playing with his "Paga".

A Much Needed Family Vacation To California- Days 1 and 2

At the beginning of this year, I told Mike that I really wanted to go to California this summer for our family vacation. He was a little hesitant at first, so we thought about it for a few months. Finally after looking at tickets, he decided it would be something good for us to do, so we called up Grammie and asked her if we could come visit for a week. Of course she said it was, so we planned the dates and purchased the tickets about 3 months in advance. I was getting so anxious! 3 more months, 2 more months, 1 more month! Then it was finally time to get packing! Mike had never been to California, so he didn't really know what to expect. I was born there, and my family would go visit almost every summer when I was growing up, so I knew it would be a good time.

The day finally arrived and we left for the Salt Lake City airport first thing in the morning. After grabbing some Subway for lunch and running to Wal-Mart for some snacks, we were off to the airport. Landon loved watching all the planes coming and going, and he was even lucky to see a pilot waving at him!

We landed in San Jose a little after 4pm, and we just hung out with Grammie and grabbed a pizza for dinner. The next day we headed out to Santa Cruz to visit the ocean and the boardwalk! The weather was perfect, and we all had a good time. We ended the trip with a nice milkshake.

This kid...

How high can these pants go?

Now lets see how low they can go!

I like them up high.

Higher...

Highest! There, nerd status!

Booty!

A little bit of Landon here and there

Here are some fun pictures of Landon from yesterday. He was being such a goof.

His messy face is a mix of a blue raspberry sucker and spaghetti.

First kisses

Mister Landon has this friend. They've been best friends for about a year now (maybe less, who knows). They get along so well together and they're so fun to watch when they play because they just laugh and laugh. But yesterday they discovered they like to kiss! While Amy's mom was saying "No more kisses!" I said "Wait, let me grab my camera! One more kiss!" They are so young it's just too cute to not document and share!

A hot day deserves a cold Popsicle

Playing

Yesterday morning while we were waiting for Landon's friend Brynlee to come over, he was being really silly. He was wearing his Cars footie jammies, his bathrobe, AND his hooded monkey blanket. He has loved this silly blanket since he was born, but we kind of tucked it away so it didn't get nasty. We found it again the other day and he wears it around like a cape.

Brynlee finally made it! She loved cheesing it up for the camera. And she wore adorably cute cowgirl boots, which Landon tried on. His little foot slipped right on in!

Cookies

This morning didn't start out well-Landon threw a huge tantrum at 6:30. Then an hour later when Mike went to school he threw another one. This was going to be a looong day! But after eating some of his banana, Landon was a happy toddler again; content with life. After putting him down for his morning nap I felt like I wanted to do something other than clean. So I made the kitchen a bigger mess and made cookies. When Landon woke up, he was happy with the delicious surprise.
